Conditions and policies

Buyer is responsible for registering, licensing and operating the motor scooter in accordance with state and local laws and ordinances. Seller makes no representations that the motor scooter is legal for operation in your city and state.

Minor assembly is required as with any other crated wholesale vehicle. It is not too difficult to assemble. It is prudent to point out that improper assembly can result in injury and even death. If you are not mechanically inclined, you should have it assembled by a professional or supervised by someone who is mechanically inclined. Please remember that by purchasing a scooter online you are responsible for performing the setup that a dealer would normally perform; such as hooking up the battery, checking tightness of all nuts and bolts, (changing oil,) etc. Occasionally some units may need other routine items checked/adjusted such as adjusting the carburetor idle and mixture screws on gas scooters, checking to insure wires connected good.

While we will gladly assist you with any technical questions, we cannot refund or exchange your unit if you cannot perform these basic functions or refuse to let a shop do it for you.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO CHECK THE TIGHTNESS OF ALL NUTS AND BOLTS AFTER ONE TO TWO HOURS OF RIDING TIME, AND PERIODICALLY AFTER THAT. ALL NUTS AND BOLTS HAVE BEEN TIGHTENED TO FACTORY SPECIFICATIONS, BUT IT IS POSSIBLE FOR THEM TO VIBRATE LOOSE, ESPECIALLY ON THE EXHAUST AND WHEELS.

The buyer holds full responsibility to check and make sure the scooter is safe before riding. Scooter riding activities involve risks and dangers of serious bodily injury, including but not limited to, disability, paralysis and death. These risks and dangers may be caused by your own actions, or inactions, or by the actions or inactions of others participating in the activity; also, by the condition in which the activity takes place, or the negligence of others, and there may be other risks and social and economic losses either known to you, not known to you or not readily foreseeable at this time and by purchasing you certify that you fully accept and assume all such risks and all responsibility for such losses, costs, and damages incurred as a result of your participation in any scooter activity and that you hold harmless Funtime Products and its agents from any of these losses and damages; furthermore, you certify that you are at least 18 years of age (to purchase) and of legal age of majority in the jurisdiction in which you reside. Remember, you must inspect all equipment before using it and take full responsibility for assuring that the equipment is in good working order and safe to use. Finally, you understand that you are responsible for any damage to equipment.

  8. Light bulbs are not covered under warranty due to the excessive natural vibration that occurs in gas pocket bikes with 2 stroke engines. Excessive vibration is normal.
